A Dublin youth who kicked, punched and grabbed his mother by her neck during a domestic violence attack has been given a six-month detention sentence by Judge Bryan Smyth at the Children’s Court.
The youth (16) pleaded guilty to assault causing harm to his mother and criminal damage to his family home last July. He also admitted possessing 30 ecstasy tablets on a later date.
