Youth killed in Kildare crash

A teenage motor cyclist was killed last night when his vehicle collided with a tractor and trailer in Clane, Co Kildare. The youth, who was aged about 17 and from Robertstown, Co Kildare, died at Naas General Hospital at 10 p.m., nearly two hours after the accident. A pillion passenger was not seriously injured. The vehicles involved were both travelling in the same direction.
