A 17-year-old youth charged at Dublin District Court yesterday with stealing an estimated £20,000 worth of church artefacts was sent for trial to the present sitting of the Circuit Criminal Court.

Mr Francis Fitzsimmons of Railway Street, Dublin, is charged with stealing the antique church garments and chalices from Holy Cross College, Clonliffe Road, Dublin, on September 8th, 1996.
