A garda on patrol in Drumfinn Road, Ballyfermot, Dublin, has arrested a 16-yearold boy in connection with the seizure of a half-kilo of heroin.
The garda saw two boys retrieving a package from under a bush. One of the youths escaped and the second was arrested and taken to Ballyfermot Garda station. The heroin is thought to have a street value of around £75,000.
