A 17-year-old youth has been arrested after pedestrian was hit by a car in Dublin today.
The 23-year-old man was knocked down at Huband Road in Bluebell shortly after midday. The car failed to stop, a Garda spokesman said.
A youth was arrested a short time later. He is being detained at Kilmainham Garda station.
The injured man was in serious condition in hospital.
