A youth (17) was shot in the lower right leg in Antrim last night.
The man was found lying in the street at Greystone Link in the Ballycraigy area, but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
Elsewhere, a man was taken to hospital after being beaten by a gang in Lurgan, Co Armagh. He is thought to have been hit repeatedly with a large piece of wood early last Friday morning at the junction of Ulster Street and Brownlow Terrace.
The victim suffered severe injuries to his back and face, a broken wrist and cheek bone, and substantial cuts and bruises.
