A woman in her 30s has died following a road traffic collision in Co Cork this morning.
The woman died at the scene after the car in which she was travelling collided with a truck on the N72 in the townland of Kilconway outside Castletownroche village.
A six-year-old girl who was travelling with the woman was unhurt in the collision and has been removed to Cork University hospital for precautionary reasons.
The male truck driver was unhurt and has been taken to Mallow Hospital suffering from shock.
The road is currently closed for forensic technical examination.
