An 18-year-old man died last night following a road traffic collision in east Belfast.

An 18-year-old man died last night following a road traffic collision in east Belfast.

David Heaslip, of Ballymiscaw Road in Holywood, Co Down, had been injured when two cars were in collision on the Belmont Road on Friday.

He is the 124th person to be killed on Northern Ireland's roads this year.

Meanwhile, two little girls are still in a critical condition in hospital after a crash which killed their father and sister on Friday.

James McGuigan (30) and his eight-year-old daughter Lorna died, when their car hit a tree on the Ballyhill Road on the outskirts of north Belfast.
