ANKABA - Turkey's mainstream conservative leaders set aside differences yesterday and agreed in principle to form a coalition government, barring the pro Islamic Welfare party from power. The caretaker Prime Minister, Ms Tansu Ciller, and Mr Mesut Yilmaz, leader of the Motherland Party, said they were now confident they could hammer out an accord.
