A series of letters and telegrams written around the turn of the century by W.B

A series of letters and telegrams written around the turn of the century by W.B. Yeats was sold at auction last night for £5,500.

The National Library paid £2,400 for two letters, while the remaining three letters and two telegrams went to other Irish buyers.

All the material, which was discovered during renovation of a business premises in Dublin, was addressed to the journalist and friend of Yeats, John McGrath.
