Five migrants have drowned after a speedboat taking them to Greece sank, according to Turkey's state-run news agency.

The group included a three-month-old baby.

The Anadolu agency said the boat went down early on Thursday off Turkey’s western coast, on its way to the Greek island of Lesbos.

Anadolu said nine people were rescued from the boat which was carrying Afghan and Iranian migrants.
