A man has died on a building site at Dublin airport.

A man has died on a building site at Dublin airport.

The 44-year-old was trapped under the wheels of a vehicle at the airside at about 9.30am.

A spokeswoman for the Dublin Airport Authority said the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and the Garda carrying out investigations.

She said the workers, an Irish national, was working as a contractor on an apron upgrade project behind the old terminal building.

The incident has not caused any disruption to flights.
