The eight-year restoration programme at Marlay House, in Marlay Park, Rathfarnham, is due to be completed in the next couple of months, according to Fianna Fail TD Mr Seamus Brennan. Mr Brennan said the 18th-century house would be used as a local amenity, a tourist venue and could be used for commercial let tings. The work has cost about £1 million.
