Women's World Day of Prayer will be marked tomorrow by services in more than 200 churches of all Christian denominations in the Republic. The annual event, held here since 1934, originated in the US in 1887.

Women in over 180 countries and islands will pray together in a service which, this year, has been prepared by women in Indonesia with the theme "Talitha Kumi - Young Woman Stand Up".
