Women get into birthday spirit

Bangkok - Thousands of Buddhist women joined a mass ordination from August 7th to 9th to mark the 66th birthday of Queen Sirikit of Thailand. The ordination took place at a temple in Prathum Thani, about 50 km north of Bangkok and was organised by the Dhammakaya Foundation, a religious group.
