Women arrested over cannabis find

Gardaí in Dublin have seized cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €150,000.

Gardaí in Dublin have seized cannabis resin with an estimated street value of €150,000.

As part of an ongoing investigation of a North Dublin criminal gang, gardaí from the Organized Crime Unit stopped and searched a car in the capital at around 8.30pm last night.

A house in Clonshaugh in Dublin 17 was also searched.

Two women aged in their 40s and 60s were arrested. They are being detained at Blanchardstown Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act 1996.
