A young woman was recovering in hospital today after being shot at a house in west Dublin.
The attack happened at 9.40pm after the woman (25) went inside the property in O'Moore Road, Ballyfermot.
Gardaí said she was hit once in the body but her injuries are not life- threatening.
She was taken to St James's Hospital, where she is in a stable condition.
Gardaí said no arrests have been made and detectives in the area were trying to establish a motive for the shooting.
