A 70-year-old woman was stabbed to death in her Belfast home last night. Her husband, also suffering stab wounds, has been arrested. The woman's body, with stab wounds to the chest, was discovered in her Cuba Walk flat off the Newtownards Road in east Belfast when police went to the address after a telephone call.
The RUC said a man found in the flat suffering from stab wounds to the stomach was taken to hospital where he was later arrested and will be questioned.
