A woman in her twenties was seriously injured this morning after a suspected stabbing in Tramore, Co Waterford.
The assault took place in a caravan park in the seaside town at about 11.20 a.m. The victim was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital with a "possible knife wound", a Garda spokesman said.
A man - also in his twenties - was arrested and is in custody in Tramore Garda station.
