Woman stabbed in Dublin city centre

A woman in her 30s was stabbed and seriously injured in Dublin city centre this morning.

A woman in her 30s was stabbed and seriously injured in Dublin city centre this morning.

Gardaí are looking for a man and a woman in relation to the incident which happened on Jervis Lane at 9am. The man was wearing a grey tracksuit while the woman was wearing a pink tracksuit.

A Garda spokesman said the woman was taken to the Mater hospital, where her condition was described as serious.

Forensic officers are examining the scene of the attack, which has been sealed off. Jervis Lane is close to some of north Dublin's busiest shopping streets.
