A woman is being treated in hospital for serious injuries after she was stabbed by a burglar in her home in Dublin.
The woman, who is in her 30s, was attacked at about 2.30pm in the afternoon by a man who broke into her home at Prospect Hill in Finglas.
She was taken to the Mater hospital. No further information was available on her condition.
A Garda spokeswoman said the scene had been preserved for technical examination and the investigation was continuing. No arrests have been made.
