RUC detectives are investigating the circumstances of the fatal shooting of 35-year-old Ms Mildred Lorraine Paul at her home in Killowen Grange, Lisburn, Co Antrim. The police were called to the house at 2.45 a.m. yesterday, where they discovered Ms Paul, with a gunshot wound to her head.
She was brought to hospital but died at 6.30 a.m. A legally-held hand-gun was found at the scene.
