A woman has been seriously injured after a collision between a car and a lorry in Co Galway early this morning.
The crash took place at Corrandrum on the N17 near Tuam at about 6.30am. The female driver of the car has been taken to University College Hospital Galway suffering from serious injuries.
The male driver of the lorry was uninjured in the incident.
The road has been closed off for technical examination.
