A woman has been seriously injured in a crash in Co Laois earlier today.
Three other adults and three children were also injured in the incident in which a truck collided with a car at about 4pm on the N7 between Abbeyleix and Portlaoise.
Emergency services are at the scene and the road has been closed to traffic.
Motorists travelling from Dublin are being diverted at Borris-in-Ossory to Durrow.
Drivers coming from the Cork direction are being diverted at Stradbally to Monasterevin.
