Gardaí are questioning a man following the discovery of a woman’s body at a house in north Dublin this morning.
The body of the 47-year-old was discovered at a house in McKee Park off Blackhorse Avenue in Cabra shortly after 8.30am by an ambulance crew who were called to the scene.
The house has been sealed off.
A Garda spokesman said the man had not been arrested but was helping officers with inquiries. He has been taken from the house to Bridewell Garda station for interview.
The State Pathologist’s office has carried out preliminary examinations and the body has been removed from the scene. A postmortem is currently underway.
