A woman was remanded in custody at Newry and Mourne Magistrates' Court yesterday on a charge linked to Tuesday's failed mortar-bomb attack on a police station in Newry. Ms Margaret Blair (41), from Parkhead Crescent, Newry, Co Down, is accused of unlawfully and maliciously conspiring with a person or persons unknown to cause an explosion likely to cause injury or serious damage to property. Ms Blair denied any involvement. She was remanded in custody to appear at Newry Court House on July 29th.
