Woman questioned after body found in north Dublin

A 32-year-old woman was being questioned by gardai today after another woman died from serious injuries.

A 32-year-old woman was being questioned by gardai today after another woman died from serious injuries.

Officers were called to a house at Station Court Hall in Clonsilla, west

Dublin, at around 9.20pm on Christmas Day.

They found a seriously injured 52-year-old woman and immediately called a doctor but she died at the scene.

A woman was arrested at the house and is being detained in Blanchardstown Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The body remains at the scene pending the arrival of the state pathologist.

It is being examined by a team from the garda technical bureau.
