Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for witnesses after a woman was knocked down and killed in the city this afternoon.
The pedestrian (55) was fatally injured when she was struck by a truck on Catherine Street at 2.15 pm.
She was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital where she died from her injuries. Witnesses are asked to contact Waterford gardaí on 051-305300.
