A woman in her 40s has died in a house fire in Co Waterford.
The fire was discovered at about 11.45pm last night at a house in Herons Hill, Knockduff, Tramore. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after 1am.
A man, also in his 40s, was taken to Waterford Regional Hospital, reportedly suffering from smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
