A man was arrested last night after a woman was killed and 11 other people injured in a series of “hit and run” car crashes in Cardiff yesterday.
The woman who was fatally injured was 32, Supt Julian Williams of South Wales Police said.
Four adults and seven children were hurt in the incidents in the Ely and Leckwith areas of Cardiff.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested and a van was seized.
The injured, adults and children, were taken to the city’s University Hospital of Wales. Early reports indicated there were about five different “hit and runs”. – (PA)
