A woman in her 70s has died after being struck by a car while out walking in Ballyfermot.
The incident happened shortly after 10pm on the Ballyfermot Road. The victim was taken to St James Hospital but later died from her injuries.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
The road has reopened following a Garda forensic examination.
