Gardaí are investigating a fatal house fire in Co Donegal today.
The body of a woman in her 50s was discovered at the scene in Carndonagh.
It is believed she was living alone.
Gardaí have cordoned off the scene and are carrying out a technical examination to determine the cause of the blaze.
The State Pathologist is expected in Co Donegal later today to carry out a postmortem examination.
