A woman was killed in a two-car collision in Co Galway this morning.
The crash happened at Attidermot, Aughrim shortly after 9 a.m. The woman killed was the driver of one of the cars.
The passenger in the woman's car, a 10-year-old boy, was injured in the crash, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Garda at Ballinasloe are investigating.
