A woman in her sixties has died following a road collision in Co Cork this morning.

A woman in her sixties has died following a road collision in Co Cork this morning.

The crash happened at Durris Cross, Bantry, Co Cork at around 9.20am, when the victim's car collided with a camper van and a van.

The occupants of both the other vehicles were unhurt.

Gardaí said the N71 between Ballydehob Cross and Durris Cross will remain closed for some time and that diversions will be in place.

The woman is the 205th person killed on roads in the State this year.
