A woman was killed and male motorist was seriously injured when a car drove down a Co Clare motorway in the wrong direction last night, reports Pat Flynn.
The woman's car and a vehicle being driven by the man collided on the M18 Ennis to Shannon motorway close to the Tulla Road interchange at about 9.30pm. The man was taken to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.
