A woman in her early 50s was killed and six others were injured in a car crash in Frenchpark, Co Roscommon.
The injured were taken to Roscommon County Hospital, where they were described last night as being in a comfortable condition. The head-on collision occurred just before midnight on Thursday as the woman turned at a junction. She was travelling from Tulsk to Frenchpark.
