A woman, believed to in her 70's, has died following a road traffic collision in Co Laois last night.
The woman died when the car she was travelling in collided with a truck.
The incident happened on the N7 At Knockanina, Mountrath, Co Laois shortly after 8.30pm yesterday evening.
The woman becomes the 253rd person to die on the Republic's roads this year.
