A 42-year-old woman was shot and injured in west Dublin late last night.
The woman as hit after the shots were fired through the front door of her house in Corkagh View, Clondalkin shortly after 11pm.
She was taken to Tallaght Hospital and has undergone surgery but her injuries are not life threatening, according to the Garda.
The scene has been preserved pending a technical examination.
