A woman is in custody today following the seizure at Dublin airport of almost 16 kilograms of cannabis.
The herbal cannabis, worth approximately €200,000, was allegedly hidden in the luggage of the woman (58), who is from west Africa and had arrived from Johannesburg.
The seizure was made during an operation targeting drugs importation from Africa and eastern Europe.
The woman is being held at Santry Garda station.
