A female pedestrian has been seriously injured after she was hit by a car in Co Donegal last night.
The incident happened at Coneyburrow Road, Lifford, at 7.15pm.
The woman, aged in her forties, was taken to Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry, where her condition is described as serious but stable. The occupants of the car were uninjured.
The road remains closed pending a technical examination.
