A woman has been arrested by gardaí investigating prostitution in Cork City.
She was detained following a Garda raid in the North Mall area of the city yesterday afternoon and is being held at Gurranabraher Garda Station under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardaí obtained a search warrant to search another premises in the south of the city. A Garda spokesman said cash and computer equipment was seized during this raid.
The spokesman said the operation is ongoing.
