A woman is being questioned by gardaí following the seizure of two handguns from the luggage of a passenger at Dublin airport.
A Garda spokesman confirmed that a 68-year-old woman was arrested at about 7pm yesterday evening after two guns were detected during a security check.
The woman is being held at Santry Garda station under the provisions of section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act. She can be held for up to seven days.
