A 27-year-old woman was found dead in an inner city apartment in Dublin this morning.
The woman was found in the apartment on James Street, Dublin 8 shortly after 10am by gardaí who were called to the scene.
A 32-year-old man was arrested in the apartment and is being questioned at Kilmainham Garda station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984
The woman's body is still at the scene which has been sealed off for technical examination. A post mortem examination is expected to take place later today.
