A woman accused of attacking an ex-boyfriend with a knife was fined £100 for breach of public order yesterday

A woman accused of attacking an ex-boyfriend with a knife was fined £100 for breach of public order yesterday. Mai Lai (42), of Donomore Crescent, Killinarden, Dublin, was convicted in her absence of threatening behaviour at a house in Walkinstown Park on Sunday night. Garda Sandra Keane said the man had a cut to his finger and a shirt but, although his mother claimed the defendant had attacked him with a knife, no weapon was found.
