A 41-year-old woman has died in a car crash in Bruff, Co Limerick.
The incident happened at about 9.30am this morning when the car in which she was travelling hit a fence at Castlefarm on the N24 between Hospital and Limerick city.
The woman was the sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The road was closed for forensic examination until 3pm this afternoon. Witnesses are asked to contact the gardaí in Bruff on 061 382940 or any Garda station.
