Gardai are investigating the circumstances in which a woman died in a fire at her home at Rossbeigh, Glenbeigh, Co Kerry. Mrs Bridie Long (46) died at about 6.30 p.m. yesterday. A Garda spokesman said the fire was spotted by a neighbour, but nothing could be done to save Mrs Long.
