Gardai from Coolock are investigating a fatal road collision which occurred today on the Malahide Road, Coolock this afternoon.
A female motor cyclist in her 40's was injured when her scooter was in collision with a truck at 1.20pm .
She was removed to Beaumount Hospital where she subsequently died.
The outbound carrigway of the Malahide Road between the UCI and the Darndale roundabout remains closed pending a garda investigation and diversions are in place.
