A woman (27) died in a crash in Co Sligo yesterday morning, gardaí said today.
Trish Dempsey Ruane, from Foxford, Co Mayo was driving the car in Carrowtawy, Ballymote, when it collided with a lorry at 9.45am.
Officers from Ballymote Garda station are investigating and have asked any witnesses to come forward.
A total of 154 people have died on the State's roads so far this year.
