A woman aged in her 80s has died following a collision in Co Cork this afternoon.
The woman was the sole occupant of a car which was involved in a crash with a lorry at about 3.20 pm at Clounties, on the Dunmanway to Bantry road.
The woman was declared dead at the scene. The male driver of the lorry was removed to Cork University hospital with minor injuries. A passenger in the vehicle was uninjured.
The road is currently closed while a forensic investigation takes place.
