A woman in her 70s has died in hospital following a road collision in the North.

A woman in her 70s has died in hospital following a road collision in the North.

The pensioner had been injured in a crash in Ballynure, Co Antrim, ten days ago that also killed Norman Barbour (79) from Carrickfergus. It is understood the dead woman is Mr Barbour’s wife.

The car they were travelling in collided with a flat bed truck on the village’s main street on Thursday, January 22nd.
